No food or water after midnight please. (nothing six hours before surgery)
This is the doctor’s decision…. please ask if we have forgotten to tell you. This is especially important if the medication is forbetes or to prevent seizures.
Drop off is at 8AM the morning of the surgery. We can accommodate earlier drop off as needed.
Unfortunately this is not possible. Our operating room is a sterile room. We take special precautions to ensure the safety of your animal; including someone in the room that is not medically necessary poses a threat your pet. Thank you for understanding.
We will send your pet home as soon as they are ready. For most surgeries, this is same day.
There are some exceptions that will require overnights including orthopedics and some abdominal surgeries.
